Delphi is introducing a lightweight aluminum cable, the cable will be applied to the new 2012 models.

     Delphi aluminum cable with a considerable conductivity of copper cable, but 48% lighter than copper cable, aluminum cable meets the various requirements of automotive manufacturers, with Delphi's thin wall insulation combined, the most extrusion resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

     Aluminum cables in 1969 and 1998 are widely used in the automotive industry, Delphi has been solid in 1974, the introduction of aluminum cable, to produce 900 million meters of aluminum cable and copper-clad aluminum cables 3,500 ten thousand meters, are widely used in various types of vehicles on the road.
