General Motors Corp. said it intends to invest $ 385 million Romulus plant produce a new high fuel efficiency engine.

     The plant currently employs 840 employees, divided into two shifts, mainly for GM's full-size truck, SUV and pickup production of a series of V-type 6-cylinder engines and V-8 cylinder engine.
