According to Reuters, the EU Commission is Honeywell International Inc. and DuPont anti-trust investigation.

     The European Commission said there were complaints that DuPont and Honeywell jointly developed a new type of automotive air conditioning system refrigerant (name 1234yf) undermines the EU's antitrust laws, because the refrigerant is not open to the patents and patent applications, and in the assessment process of the refrigerant used illegal means to obtain a patent license.

     The EU Commission said that DuPont and Honeywell will restrict competition exists to investigate, and investigate whether Honeywell was the assessment of the refrigerant in the process of fraud.

     Honeywell International Inc. spokesman said the company has complied with EU competition rules. DuPont is currently not available for comment.
